As the proud mayor of Mount Olive Township, my deep commitment to this community fuels everything I do. With over a decade of experience in public service, I've worked tirelessly to meet the needs of our residents and enhance the quality of life that makes Mount Olive such a special place to call home.

Since joining the Mount Olive Township Council in 2012 and serving three terms—including eight consecutive years as council president—I've had the honor of implementing initiatives that have made a real difference in our town. Here are just a few highlights:

🌟 Tax Rebate Program: I introduced a program that supports local businesses while rewarding residents for shopping within Mount Olive. Every year, residents receive a rebate based on their local purchases, helping to strengthen our local economy.

♻️ Sustainability Efforts: Partnering with TREKS, we launched a plastic bag recycling program that encourages eco-friendly practices and helps keep our community clean.

🏞️ Recreation Upgrades: Under my leadership, Turkey Brook Park has undergone major improvements, including the addition of the Splash Pad and Pirates Cove. We've also brought fun community events like the Mistle Market and the Mount Olive Parade, all at no cost to residents, fostering pride and connection.

Sports Field Enhancements: We’ve upgraded all of our sports fields with turf, providing our athletes with top-tier facilities to compete and play.

📢 Open Communication: I believe in keeping our community informed and engaged. I’ve made transparency a priority, always encouraging feedback from residents and making sure you're up to date on all developments in our township.

🤝 Shared Services: We’ve expanded services to neighboring towns, generating valuable revenue for Mount Olive and strengthening our community's resilience.

🗑️ Waste Management Innovations: We’ve modernized our waste management systems, introducing more efficient methods that benefit both our residents and the environment.

🏡 Community Engagement: I’ve launched programs designed to encourage local participation, such as convenient recycling drop-off points, making it easy for residents to contribute to our efforts.

On a personal note, I’m proud to be a father, grandfather, and husband. Family values are at the core of my work, and I’m dedicated to creating a community that reflects those same values. My wife, Mary Lalama, who serves as a councilwoman, and I co-own a local newspaper, keeping our residents informed and connected with the stories that matter most. I’m also active in the 200 Club, the Mount Olive Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Mt. Olive Lions, where I work to support our local businesses.

As your mayor, my commitment to Mount Olive remains unwavering. I’m focused on continuing our progress while addressing the challenges ahead, always striving to create a vibrant and welcoming community for all.

Thank you for the privilege of serving you. Together, we’ll keep making Mount Olive a wonderful place to live, work, and thrive!
