Position Type: Permanent Part-Time (29 hours per week)
Salary Range: $25 per hour
Start Date: January 1, 2025
Mount Olive Township (Morris County) is seeking a permanent part-time, experienced Fire Inspector. Under direction of the Fire Marshal, inspects premises of buildings to detect and eliminate fire hazards and to enforce the provisions of relevant fire safety codes and related regulations; does other related duties. Weekends are occasionally required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION: Possession of a current, valid Fire Inspector certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Fire Investigator certification issued by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Must have at least one year experience as a Fire Inspector.
