Owner and Founder Sterling Gibbs is a professional basketball player, trainer, and mindset coach. Sterling played Division 1 basketball at Seton Hall University and The University of Connecticut. At UCONN, Sterling earned a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and plans to use his experience playing collegiate and professional basketball as well as his advanced degree to one day coach at the highest level. Since graduating, Sterling has played (and continues to play) in Europe’s top league. When he returns home to the US during his off season, Sterling trains young athletes individually, in small groups, and runs a local summer basketball camp.
Sterling is a passionate player but many would say an even more passionate coach. Over the years, parents and athletes who have worked with Sterling, seem to really value that Sterling provides advanced athletes with perspective yet is also able to teach beginner athletes fundamentals and sportsmanship in a truly fun way.
