*No refunds for special events canceled due to weather or safety conditions.
*Memberships are non refundable.

A $10 Administrative fee will be charged against participant requested program refunds, including medical problems, to cover clerical and administrative costs.
Program Refund requests received with less than three business days' notice prior to the start of the program, will only be issued for medical problems, when accompanied by a doctor's note. (The $10 Administrative fee still applies.)
All Refunds are done by purchase orders and then checks will be mailed out. It takes three to five weeks to receive a refund. This procedure includes registrations paid by credit card. Refunds will only be issued in the same calendar year as the payment that was made. Requests for refunds that are made after the end of the calendar year will be denied, but a credit may be issued.
Chargeback Policy
At the Mount Olive Recreation Department, we are committed to providing high-quality services and fair, transparent policies for all participants. To ensure equitable and consistent financial practices, we have established the following policy regarding credit card chargebacks:
Refund Policy Reminder
All program cancellations and refund requests must follow our official refund policy. Refunds are granted based on specific eligibility criteria and timelines. If you have questions about whether a refund may apply to your situation, we encourage you to contact our office directly.
Chargebacks
Initiating a credit card chargeback as a means of obtaining a refund—without first attempting to resolve the matter through our refund policy—undermines the integrity of our services and can be considered a form of fraud.
We understand that chargebacks may be appropriate in cases of unauthorized transactions or billing errors. However, deliberately bypassing our refund process through a chargeback may result in the following actions:
- Denial of Future Credit Card Use
Customers who initiate chargebacks that are deemed fraudulent or made in bad faith may lose the privilege of using credit cards as a form of payment for any future programs, rentals, or services with the Mount Olive Recreation Department. - Suspension of Account or Program Access
Repeated or severe violations of this policy may result in temporary or permanent suspension from participation in department programs or facility usage. - Collection and Recovery Procedures
Any outstanding balances due as a result of a reversed chargeback may be pursued through standard collection procedures.
