Morris County will be doing road improvements, milling, and resurfacing on Bartley Flanders Road/Bartley Chester Road in Mount Olive starting on or about Monday, September 25, 2023. This work includes the Rt. 206/Bartley Flanders Road jug handle. J.A. Alexander is the contractor. Construction is anticipated to last 7 days, weather permitting, and conclude by Tuesday, October 3, 2023. The hours of operation will be 6:30 am – 5 pm, Monday - Friday. The work will be conducted in three segments with River Road serving as the split. Full closure is anticipated, keeping River Road open to traffic for both phases.
Segment #1 (orange): from Bartle Road – River Road paving scheduled for October 2nd
Segment #2 (green): from River Road to Animal Care Center paving scheduled for October 3rd
Segment #3 (yellow): Rt. 206 jug handle to Shop Rite paving scheduled for October 4th
Bartley Road traffic will be restricted to local access and traffic alternated when feasible. Please give yourself extended travel time, follow detours, and drive safely. Thank you for your cooperation.
