- The cutting away of any wall, partition or portion thereof;
- The removal or cutting of any structural beam or bearing support;
- The removal or change of any required means of egress (exit way);
- Any work affecting structure or fire safety;
- Any work that increases the nonconformity of an existing building or structure;
- Addition to, or alternation, replacement or relocation of: any standpipe, water supply, sewer, drainage, gas, soil, waste, vent or similar piping;
- Electrical wiring, other than low voltage communication systems in one and two family dwellings;
- Mechanical or other work affecting public health or general safety;
- Any work undertaken for the purpose of lead or asbestos abatement.
