Officer Saunders was sworn in as a police officer and began his career with Mt. Olive Police on July 7, 2014. He is a graduate of the Morris County Police Academy's 83rd Basic Police Class and is currently assigned to the Patrol Division. Officer Saunders graduated from Roxbury High School in 2001. He then graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2007 with a B.A. of Architecture. Officer Saunders’s departmental awards include two Honorable Service Awards.
Officer Saunders is a member of the Police Unity Tour, which is an annual 300 mile bicycle ride from New Jersey to Washington D.C. The Tour raises awareness and support for the National Law Enforcement Memorial located in our nation’s capital.
Officer Saunders has served in the capacity of the Secretary of Fraternal Order of Police, Lodge #122.
