Since joining the department in January 1999, Officer Braikovich has been assigned to the Patrol Division. He is a graduate of New Jersey City University where he received a B.S. in Health Education/Driver Education. His departmental awards include an Honorable Service Award, an Educational Achievement Award and the 1999 Knights of Columbus Shield Award for his investigation which led to an arrest for counterfeiting. Braikovich holds his New Jersey Standard Teaching Certification in Special Education and is an American Red Cross instructor of CPR and First Aid. He has been certified to teach DARE and completed an 80-hour course in Community Policing.
