Officer Andrew Spotts

Officer Spotts began his career with the Mount Olive Township Police Department as a Police Dispatcher in March of 2012. He was hired as a Police Officer in January of 2013 and graduated from the Morris County Police Academy's 80th Basic Police Class. Officer Spotts is a graduate of Geneva College and holds a B.A. in Experiential Education. Officer Spotts’ departmental awards include multiple Life Saving awards, a Grand Cordon, an Honorable Service award, and an Educational award. Officer Spotts is certified in Basic Crash Investigation and Advanced Crash Investigation. He is also certified in Accident Reconstruction by the Institute of Police Management, University of North Florida and assists the Morris County Prosecutor's Office Vehicular Homicide Unit investigate serious & fatal motor vehicle crashes. Officer Spotts has received training and certification from the International Association of Chiefs of Police as a Drug Recognition Expert and is certified in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement. Additionally, Officer Spotts has served the department as a Field Training Officer and is currently assigned to the Traffic Bureau.
