Detective Slinger is a 2005 graduate of Roxbury High School. Following high school, he attended The County College of Morris; receiving an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Sciences. He then attended Centenary University in Hackettstown, graduating in 2011 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management. He worked as a Communications Officer with the Mount Olive Township Police Department from June of 2015 until his hire as a Police Officer in January 2017. Officer Slinger graduated the Morris County Public Safety Training Academy on May 31, 2017. He is presently assigned to the Detective Bureau.
