Darrell Hooper

Darrell Hooper earned his Bachelor's Degree in History and Political Science from Rutgers University and an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Middlesex County College.  Darrell was first hired as a full-time Communications Officer with the Mount Olive Police Department in January of 2007.  He has since been certified as a 911 and EMD Trainer, allowing him to assist others who are just beginning their careers.  In June of 2010, Darrell was cross-trained as a Records Clerk, while still performing the functions of Communications Officer when needed.  He is currently assigned as the Assistant to the Chief, handling the day-to-day administrative responsibilities of the department.  Darrell also volunteers his time running the food and beverage stand every year during National Night Out and assists in delivering toys at Christmas time to Goryeb Children’s Hospital in Morristown.
