Field Usage at Municipal Parks

In accordance with Executive Order 108, the operation of field use in Municipal Parks is subject to the discretion of local government.  New Jersey residents are permitted in engaging in outdoor activities with immediate family members while following best social distancing practices. Effective dawn on Saturday, May 30th 2020, the fields (soccer, football, lacrosse and baseball) will be open at Turkey Brook Park, Flanders Park, Drakes Brook Park and Dan Jordan Park with social distancing restrictions.   No organized or contact sport is allowed.  If you are sick with COVID19 or were recently exposed to someone, or just do not feel well, please do not visit the public park areas.  If social distancing is not observed, the Township reserves the right to discontinue use and close all fields.   Basketball and volleyball courts remain closed.  The following rules shall apply:
 
Field usage limited to:
Passive play only (kicking a soccer ball, playing catch, etc.)
NO ORGANIZED OR CONTACT SPORT
NO CAMPS/TRAINING/CLINICS/LEAGUES/SCRIMMAGES
Twenty five (25) people per field
Social Distancing of 6 feet apart required
Face coverings required where social distancing cannot be maintained
Hours of Operation – dawn to dusk
Violators are subject to fine
